Variety Characteristics

A self-fertile variety, allowing successful fruiting without the need for cross-pollination. It is known for its high productivity and delivers a shelled kernel yield of approximately 40%, making it an efficient choice for growers.

Seed Description

The seeds are elongated and elliptical in shape, with an average weight of 1.3 grams. Each ounce contains about 18 to 20 almonds, with the percentage of semi-doubles ranging from 1% to 10%, ensuring mostly uniform kernel quality.

We are Georgia’s largest superintensive almond orchard, which represents synthesis of Georgian optional climate conditions with European expertise.
The orchard is Modern and high-tech project, where we pay huge attention to quality and reliability. Orchard management system is considering all the international standards to create healthy nuts.
The seedlings are produced in Spain, in one of the leading nursery in the World. From Spain to Georgia we expanded to 175 ha orchard in Kvemo Kartli region, which represents one of the most untouched and clean natural environment for the almond growing.
Avijor (a.k.a lauranne) represents the sort of the future, described as very nutritious, tasteful, medium to big caliber, nonpareil premium quality almond. The product is suitable for raw usage as well as for any kind of processing.
